These bricks are CNC machined from a solid billet of Yucatan Rosewood and are sized to be compatible with industry standard bricks such as those made by LEGO®. These exotic wooden bricks are crafted from solid wood, with no stains or dies giving them warm rich earthen hue. These bricks weigh in at ~ 3.6 grams compared to the standard LEGO® brick’s weight of just 2.5 grams.

Yucatan Rosewood is a hard, warm golden brown wood with darker-reddish brown grain and pale sapwood. It looks like a cross between Honduras Rosewood and Cocobolo, but does not have the allergenic properties of either of them. It polishes to a glass and as you probably already guessed, this wood is native to the Yucatan Peninsula.
